Senior Vice President/Investments
Portfolio Manager – Solutions Program

For the past 15-plus years, I have had the privilege of helping families and small businesses pursue their financial goals. I’ve found that there is much more to serving my clients than simply looking at numbers. Developing a long-term relationship based on transparency and understanding involves much more than simply identifying investment products. Building trust is the key to offering valuable service throughout their lifetime.

Throughout the investment planning process, my goal is to help families discover the things that are essential to their happiness. My hope is to be invested in the success of my clients and assist them in accomplishing their goals while developing strategies to mitigate risk.

I identify with the phrase “common sense is born of broad experience.” Wealth management is a second career for me, but financial services is not. I have spent 20 years in corporate finance and accounting prior to entering the investment industry. Having previously been Vice President of Finance for two separate divisions of a Fortune 500 company, along with attaining and maintaining the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification, provide me with a unique perspective serving as my clients’ personal wealth management resource.

My hope is to develop a relationship where your first call for anything financially related will be to us. This doesn’t necessarily mean that we have all of the answers or solutions, but we will help you find them, even if that means facilitating conversations with other professionals.

Outside the office, my wife and I spend much of our spare time involved in charitable work, most actively with Guide Dogs of America, raising Guide Dog puppies. In addition to puppy-raising, I’ve served as president of the Foundation Board of Guide Dogs of America Foundation along with other fundraising activities, helping guide dogs assist the many visually impaired men and women in the U.S. and Canada. Other important causes near to us include various veterans’ organizations and homeless shelters in our region.

My wife, Rhonda, and I are Michigan natives but have lived in Valencia, California, for more than 16 years. We have two adult daughters and are ready, when they are, to become grandparents.
